Maria L. Kelly
Assistant Curator of Photography
Maria L. Kelly is the Assistant Curator of Photography. She was the curatorial assistant in the High’s Photography department from 2011 to 2016, returning to the role in 2019 after completing her master’s degree. During her time at the Museum, she has helped organize more than twenty-five photography installations. Most recently she served as the venue curator for Deana Lawson and André Kertész: Postcards from Paris and was co-curator of Underexposed: Women Photographers from the Collection.
Maria received her MA from Columbia University and her BA from the University of Georgia. Previously, she worked at The Sir Elton John Photography Collection and the Brooklyn Museum.
