Nearly seventy sculptures and drawings in the exhibition feature many of Rodin’s best-known compositions as well as less-familiar works and numerous expressive and probing drawings.

The High Museum of Art will present the first posthumous exhibition of Farmanfarmaian’s work in an American museum with Monir Farmanfarmaian: A Mirror Garden.

Joseph Stella: Visionary Nature will include Stella’s precisely rendered botanical drawings, playful floral concoctions, moody symbolist pastels, and modern reinterpretations of early Renaissance painting.

Sculptor and printmaker Bruce Onobrakpeya (born 1932) is one of the fathers of African modernism and a founding member of the Zaria Art Society—an art collective that developed the natural synthesis aesthetic that came to define early postcolonial Nigerian art.
