Dear Members,

I hope you’ve had a fantastic year so far and are looking forward to a wonderful holiday season. As always, we have tons of great programming and a diverse schedule of exhibitions to keep you coming back to the Museum again and again.

Rodin in the United States: Confronting the Modern, which tracks the revered artist’s rise to prominence in America, is on view until January 15. Don’t miss your chance to see some of Rodin’s most famous sculptures, along with lesser-known works that demonstrate his daring and inventiveness. Also on view are complex and thought-provoking photographs by Deana Lawson and an exhibition surveying the innovative and wide-ranging career of designer Stephen Burks.

In November, we’ll open Monir Farmanfarmaian: A Mirror Garden, featuring mirror sculptures and other works by one of Iran’s most celebrated artists. Her untitled sculpture on view in the Modern and Contemporary galleries has become a visitor favorite, so we know you’ll enjoy seeing even more of her work.

In Collection Highlights, we’re highlighting recent gifts of Impressionist paintings from the Shaheen family, which are now on view in our European Art galleries.
